Set around the yard of the owner s small farm it is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet but also the perfect base to explore this stunning area of Exmoor and Somerset. From the top gate of the farm guests can walk up to the summit of Dunkery Beacon where the views are far-reaching. The local village of Wheddon Cross is a short distance away and has a well-stocked local shop pub and is most renowned for its displays of snowdrops in February each year. Visit the Medieval town of Dunster with its variety of shops cafes and castle. Other points of interest include the West Somerset Steam Railway Valley of the Rocks and Lynton and Lynmouth with its water powered cliff railway. On entering this cottage you will go straight into the lounge which is a perfect place to enjoy time with family and friends where you can all enjoy watching a movie on the TV/DVD. In the summer you can open the stable door to let the outside in and in the cooler months light the wood burner for a cosier feel. Two steps lead down to a separate kitchen/diner which is a perfect room to enjoy some family meals together and is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Heading upstairs you will find two twin bedrooms (which can be made up as super king-size zip-and-link on request) one of the bedrooms has a small balcony. The family shower room is also on this floor and has a shower and WC. Free WiFi is available but due to the location can be intermittent. Regret no children under the age of 16. Venturing outside through the stable door guests will find an enclosed decked area with seating here you can enjoy the warm Somerset evenings and the far-reaching views. Proceed down three steps to the small enclosed garden where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine. There is off-road parking for two cars to the front of the property. In a separate building you will find individual lockable store cupboards for bikes and surf boards laundry facilities and even a hose and a sink with hot water for washing your four legged friends. With dogs in mind there is also a useful dog kennel and run located below the decking steps. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 2 twin zip and link (which can be made up as a super king on request). Towels and bedding provided. 1 shower room and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. TV and DVD in lounge. Shared utility room with washing machine in a separate building. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Electric and electric heating included. Off road parking for 2 cars. Wi Fi included however can be intermittent due to location, no mobile phone signal. 2 dogs welcome. Shop and pub 2 miles. Bicycle storage available. A dog kennel and run is located below the decking steps for use by guests. Natural water supply from borehole. Changeover only a Monday and Friday (Only Friday's in September and October). Due to the layout and nature of the farm (streams and ponds), the cottages are not suitable for babies, infants or children under 16 years of age.

This property is located close to the centre of Minehead a popular coastal town in North Somerset where visitors can enjoy typical British seaside entertainment including a wide sandy beach seafront cafes a promenade arcades and the fun-filled Butlins resort for which day tickets can be purchased. Just fifty yards from the property is the town s station for the West Somerset Steam Railway which is the longest heritage railway in England. This fantastic day out offers twenty miles of track running from Minehead inland to Bishops Lydeard stopping along the way at Dunster and Watchet amongst other places. A garden path leads to the front door of this traditional terraced cottage bring guests to the homely living accommodation. On the ground floor a wood burner-effect electric fire gives the lounge a lovely cosy feel which can be enjoyed from the room s two comfortable sofas as can the TV/DVD. The dining room which sits between the lounge and the kitchen has a dining table seating five a feature fireplace and a book case with a range of books for guests to enjoy. Moving through to the kitchen guests will find everything they need to prepare their favourite dishes including an oven hob microwave fridge freezer and dishwasher whilst a separate outbuilding houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. On the first floor there are two bedrooms: a double which has its own TV and a peaceful twin room. There is also a WC on the first floor. Outside there is an enclosed decked garden to the rear of the property which has garden furniture and a BBQ. There is off-road parking available for one car with additional roadside parking nearby. Need to know: 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom with bath, shower, and WC. Separate first floor WC.
