The local village of Wheddon Cross is a short distance away and has a well-stocked local shop pub and is most renowned for its displays of snowdrops in February each year. Visit the Medieval town of Dunster with its variety of shops cafes and castle. Other points of interest include the West Somerset Steam Railway Valley of the Rocks and Lynton and Lynmouth with its water powered cliff railway. On entering this cottage you will go straight into the lounge which is a perfect place to enjoy time with family and friends where you can all enjoy watching a movie on the TV/DVD. In the summer you can open the stable door to let the outside in and in the cooler months light the wood burner for a cosier feel. Two steps lead down to a separate kitchen/diner which is a perfect room to enjoy some family meals together and is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Heading upstairs you will find two twin bedrooms (which can be made up as king-size zip-and-link on request) one of the bedrooms has a small balcony.
